Endless Open World
Seven biomes — shore, meadow, forest, desert, highlands, snow and savanna — with mountains, canyons, deep diveable oceans, seasons and a living weather engine.
The cozy survival game where you reclaim a shadow-eaten world by lighting it back up.
Day 1 is pure: meadows, herds, birdsong, towns at work. From Night 1, shadow entities spread wherever the light isn't — and unlit land, wildlife, even villagers can fall to the dark. Expand your lit territory, defend the towns, take down shadow kingdoms, and watch the world bloom back.

The Game
"The cozy survival game where you reclaim a shadow-eaten world by lighting it back up."
VIBEWELL runs in your browser as a single self-contained game — no install, no downloads, works offline. Punch a tree, craft a torch, build a home, and push back a darkness that is a living population, not a spawn timer. The campaign has no script and one direction: from a hilltop at night, the map should read as a web of warm lights in a dark that is losing.
Features
A full survival game, systems deep — built to be satisfying first and stressful last.
Seven biomes — shore, meadow, forest, desert, highlands, snow and savanna — with mountains, canyons, deep diveable oceans, seasons and a living weather engine.
Land falls Pristine → Touched → Shadowed → Consumed, one stage a night. Fight Skitters, Shades, Brutes and kingdom-ruling Sovereigns — and cure what the dark has converted with strong light.
Endless camps, villages and walled cities with roads, leaders, laws and lamp-lit defense grids. Befriend villagers, trade, farm for the town — or recruit a friend to adventure at your side.
Sheep to sharks, bees to breaching whales. Animals breed, migrate, form families and learn to trust you. Horses are rideable; a shadow wolf, bonded in the dark, never leaves you.
Tools climb Wood → Stone → Iron → Steel. Build free-form homes on real terrain, farm crops through the seasons, cook at the fire, and hunt treasure boxes in the wild.
Full castles of darkness under permanent storms, rarer than cities. Bring one down and the storm breaks — the black castle is revealed as a radiant stronghold, yours to claim, cleansed forever.
Join the Mages, Knights, Light Guild or Thieves. Run endless missions, hunt red-seal bounties by lamplight, and learn to cast ember and frost — no mana bar, ever.
Descend through cave mouths into glow caverns and mushroom grottos — deeper ores, new gems, treasure chests in the deepest chambers, and the world's strongest shadow.
Creative mode with a full spawn-anything catalog, deep character customization shared by every NPC, and full graphics settings that scale from integrated laptops to gaming rigs.

Version History
VIBEWELL's public beta began at Build 16.1 — an already-complete world — and has grown era by era since:
Builds 32–35 · Current
Serious speed work — smarter culling and batched towns cut the cost of big settlements dramatically — plus a rebuilt input system that fixed mouse-look, and a fix for items flickering in and out of view at camps.
Builds 29–31
Procedural ragdoll, town law with warrants and mercy, villager recruitment, working farmhands, recruit perks — and a full character & motion overhaul with jointed creatures and expressive hands.
Builds 25–28
Reflourish became visible: land sickens and heals in waves of bloom. Shadow contagion restored in full, beehives joined the economy, and the shadow roster got its billowing-smoke look and falling-castle ceremony.
Builds 18–24
The Underground opened, roads linked the settlements, towns gained stone foundations, and Creative mode grew its full catalog — alongside two deep performance passes.
Builds 16.1–17
The first public build: the endless world, settlements, the shadow war, twenty species, naval pirates, bandits and roads — then Guilds & Growth added the four guilds, endless missions and bounty hunting.
Coming Soon
The whole endless world is built and growing — it just isn't on sale yet. When the beta opens, this page will say so first.
VIBEWELL is in active development and is not yet on sale. Expect new features, changes, and the occasional rough edge — that's what development means, and the Updates page tells the whole story.
